Having lived in the Bay Area all my life, I often take for granted all of the amazing local attractions we have here.  For example, we live 45 minutes away from one of those most renowned wine regions in the world, yet I’ve spent relatively little time there (other than shooting weddings, of course – but that doesn’t count!)  After we got together with Carol and Matt for their engagement session in Sonoma, I told myself that things need to change and we really need to make the effort to visit more often.  Not only is the scenery incredible, but the restaurants (and wine) are superb!  After our session, Carol and Matt were so sweet to invite us to dinner with them at the El Dorado in downtown Sonoma.  I will remember that dinner for a very long time; great food, great company, and Chris and I tried a bone marrow appetizer for the first time.  It was… interesting!  Can’t wait to see Carol and Matt on their wedding day – and here’s to many more fun dinners together in the future!
