One of my favorite advertising campaigns is for Corona; two glistening beer bottles nestled in the rich white sand of a remote beach, surrounded by an incredible sea of turquoise water.  Picture-perfect paradise!  These images came rushing back to me when we arrived in Puerto Morelos, Mexico for Ashley & Scott’s destination wedding.  Puerto Morelos is a small town just up the coast from Playa Del Carmen in the Riviera Maya.  This trip had extra special meaning for us because we had our own destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen just a few short years ago.  We hadn’t been back since our wedding, so it was exciting to revisit the beautiful Caribbean beaches and pop open a Corona!

Most of us stayed at the beautiful Azul Beach Hotel, while the bride, groom, and their wedding party stayed at the Azul Villa Carola just next door.  This luxury villa was absolutely incredible – over 10,000 sq ft, two full kitchens, a private staff, pool, and jacuzzi – all right on the beach.  We couldn’t have asked for a better location to shoot a wedding.  Absolutely amazing!

We were surrounded by two incredible families and the wedding day was emotional for everyone.  Lots of happy tears flowing!

The wedding reception took place outside on the patio under the stars.  Lots of tequila, dancing, and fun!
