I have an affinity for wide open spaces. I’ve become so used to living in a populated area that when I see a large stretch of land with nothing but flowers, grass, and trees, it feels very surreal and almost magical. Just like being in love. For this engagement session, we headed up to the Clayton side of Mt. Diablo to a spot we thought would be perfect for Milli and Matt. Although it took a little hiking to get there, it was totally worth it. The shoot started under a gray sky, but soon the clouds parted and the sun began to peek through. A rainbow even came out at one point! How much more magical could it get?? I’m not sure what I enjoyed more – the beautiful scenery or watching Milli and Matt together. They are so comfortable with each other and it’s obvious they simply enjoy being together, moment to moment. That’s what it’s all about. Due to the weather (and some unfriendly park rangers) we weren’t able to make it to our second location. So stayed tuned for Milli & Matt Part 2!
Check out that rainbow!
